Friendly and efficient staff. Asked for an extension cord and it was delivered in less than 10 minutes. Great location within walking distance of everything in cannery row. Plenty of great restaurants nearby. Nice to have covered parking too.

This was a great location and a great stay. Staff was very nice and helpful. Just an all around great stay. We'll definitely will be back!

Oh. My. Goodness. I have found my new favorite getaway place. I don't even know where to start this review is going to be a novel. Upon arrival, the very kind man at the front desk had told me our room had been upgraded complimentary as we were celebrating a birthday that weekend. We ended up staying upstairs of the lobby in the most beautiful suite I've ever seen that even had an ocean view. The room was impeccably clean, had two TVs, a living room & a king size bed in the other room. There were two fireplaces that worked with a little timer with options ranging from 30mins to 120mins. They also gave us a free bottle of wine for the birthday we were celebrating!!! Each evening from 5-6 they offer complimentary wine tasting & cheese & crackers. The wine was delicious and it was such a fun moment in the day to take a break and just enjoy our time. The gentleman helping us out Friday & Saturday night was so kind and funny. The mornings offered a wide variety of complimentary breakfast, from sausage & egg frittatas to blueberry muffins. Everything was hot & fresh and the staff was very attentive. In my opinion, there were no downsides of staying here. The staff was so kind & thorough with everything. The parking was $17 a night but I think that's a good deal... many hotel parking situations are $20 or more. I will definitely be a repeat traveler here.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was so good as well as the cheese and wine in the evening. Walking distance to great restaurants as well as CVS and 7/11. Also a great scenic and walking distance to the aquarium. Will definitely choose this place again when we go to Monterey again!

Extremely underrated. Very good hotel. Clean rooms, renovated bathrooms, very clean and new tiles and clean showers. Gas fireplace was awesome. HBO channel was also a nice touch. Best breakfast ever!!

This hotel was one of my favourites during our trip down the coast of California. Check in was quick and easy, we paid for parking and were told we were able to come and go as we pleased. We were told there was cheese & wine due to be served in the parlour which was a nice touch. We had a top floor room, which had lovely high ceilings. The room was really spacious with a small balcony for warm weather stays and a fire in the room for when it’s cold. Nice bathroom with a large shower. Breakfast was served in the parlour and there was a good selection. Replenishment was a little slow, but it was quite busy, so understandable. The location is really good, close to cannery row, the aquarium and a short walk to the harbour. I would love to misinterpret Monterey again, and would definitely stay here.
