Met all my expectations for hospitality business and impressed me with their front desk service and kindness, they lent me silverware when the food delivery sent no plastic ware. Staff are truly friendly and focused on making your stay a great experience. Room was nicely decorated and so clean and they're pet welcoming and while there is a pet fee it is worth it. The room was clean and kept clean throughout our stay and smelled like it, no off smells that can occur with pets or the damp coastal areas. The beds were very plush and kept up. The fireplace was a warm and cozy addition to the stay.

Beautiful historic inn near the Cannery District in Monterey.

We always have a wonderful time staying at the Victorian Inn. This is our 3rd year in a row coming back for the 5pm wine and cheese with friendly staff like Victor. We enjoy the lovely breakfast, and appreciate that it is right smack dab in the middle of Monterey. A nice 25-30 minute walk in either direction will take you to Pacific Grove or downtown. A short five minute walk to Cannery Row, Hula's Island Grill, or Wave Street Cafe Clean hotel room with precious little balconies and a fireplace. Perfect for a little R&R. Couldn't recommend them more, we love the Victorian Inn.

We stayed at the Victorian Inn for one night and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of food, and the staff kept refilling everything, so there was always plenty to choose from. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We also really liked the covered parking on the ground level of the building, which was very convenient. We truly enjoyed our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer than one night. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love this place. Quaint,. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Great locale too. I stay here 1-2 times a year.

Older rooms but very comfortable. We preferred it colder but the rooms had fireplaces and heaters. It looked like there was a balcony for each room. Road noise but still quiet. Literally 5 minutes from Cannery row, it’s the next street over, and only a 10-15 minute walk to the aquarium. The breakfast in the morning was a great spread too, and the ladies were so friendly. I would recommend this hotel again!

The simple version : If you're looking for location , great staff, quaint rooms, breakfast and parking then look no more! More detailed version: I've stayed at many places in Monterey and this place is by far my favorite! The location is walking distance to Cannery Row and the beach! Breakfast in the morning and cheese and wines early evening. The staff is so pleasant and very approachable with smiles ! Christina is amazing . When I booked the room I did mention my son was taking me whale watching for my birthday (weekend of memorial), and was super excited to find a special little birthday surprise in my room upon check in. Parking is great; big enough for all guests yet small enough so all parkings are close to the elevator. Highly recommend, great value and lovely staff !

This was a great location and a great stay. Staff was very nice and helpful. Just an all around great stay. We'll definitely will be back!
