Extremely underrated. Very good hotel. Clean rooms, renovated bathrooms, very clean and new tiles and clean showers. Gas fireplace was awesome. HBO channel was also a nice touch. Best breakfast ever!!

This hotel was one of my favourites during our trip down the coast of California. Check in was quick and easy, we paid for parking and were told we were able to come and go as we pleased. We were told there was cheese & wine due to be served in the parlour which was a nice touch. We had a top floor room, which had lovely high ceilings. The room was really spacious with a small balcony for warm weather stays and a fire in the room for when it’s cold. Nice bathroom with a large shower. Breakfast was served in the parlour and there was a good selection. Replenishment was a little slow, but it was quite busy, so understandable. The location is really good, close to cannery row, the aquarium and a short walk to the harbour. I would love to misinterpret Monterey again, and would definitely stay here.

I absolutely loved everything about our stay! Honestly the best experience from accommodations to staff and service I have ever experienced. We will definitely be returning at some point in the future.

Amazing service, the people who work here are superb! Victoria was my favorite! So sweet and helpful. The rooms are really comfortable as well as the beds. If I get the chance to come back I will stay here!!!!

Had a lovely stay at Victoria Inn. Staff very nice, room was great - very spacious and comfortable. Really excellent location as within walking distance of Cannery Row and the waterside. Cheese and wine served late afternoon/early evening which was a lovely touch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was nice, buffet style with enough to choose from. Breakfast was very busy and the room wasn’t huge so pick your timing.

Our stay was fabulous the location was perfect, breakfast was good and the wine and cheese reception daily was a bonus. We would stay again
