This was perfectly located where you could walk to the aquarium and cannery row easily. The wine and cheese in the evening was great and they had good options for breakfast. We are vegan and they had options for us.

I liked how close it was in walking distance to loads of stuff. The room was very nice and the bed super comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast and wine and cheese hour. The only thing I wish was that the fireplace was a little more warm. It was mostly just for ambiance but it was still nice to sit by in the evening.

Great location for walking to Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf!

Charming hotel in the perfect place to walk to the restaurants, aquarium and cannery row. It was pretty quiet. We were on the 2nd floor so could occasionally hear walking in the room above but only for a minute. There isn’t any air conditioning but they did provide a fan for the room. We kept the sliding glass door to the balcony open at night for a nice breeze. Great fireplace and TV for streaming. I would stay here again for sure.

The room was clean and very spacious. It had a fireplace and a nice little balcony with chairs and a table. My wife referred to the shower as exfoliating due to the excellent water pressure. Breakfast was nice for a Continental style and the afternoon wine and cheese hour was quite pleasant. There are two EV charging stations in the garage, although people with non-EV vehicles parked in the spots. The staff we interacted with were quite pleasant. Three short blocks to Cannary Row.

It’s close to cannery row. You can walk to the shops, beach and aquarium. They are very nice and friendly.

My friend came down to Monterey 7/30 to 8/2 for a getaway and walked into a beautiful and serene place to stay. I was surprised considering how close it is to Cannery Row. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful as was all of the staff. We had my friend’s small dog with us and everyone is very pet friendly. Our room was close to the parking and made getting our luggage in easy. Room was clean, well maintained, and perfect. They offer a continental free breakfast 7-10 and an afternoon wine & cheese social offering. Checkout is easy. I was surprised how quiet it was after 10pm which is just what we needed. I highly recommend checking Victorian Inn if you go to Monterey.

This quaint hotel is charming, the rooms comfortable, location is fantastic, free breakfast was exceptional and everyone we encountered there was fantastic. It is located very close to Cannery Row and the aquarium in a very walkable area. The underground parking right next to the hotel was convenient and very easy to get in and out of. Any future visits to Monterey will include a stay at this inn.

This was our second time staying at the Victorian Inn. We enjoyed the proximity to Cannery Row and the Aquarium. Parking was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. The complimentary wine and cheese reception and breakfast were a nice bonus.
