We spent two nights. We found the room to be clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. So nice having the breakfast buffet and evening wine and cheese. The hotel is conveniently located. It's a Short walking distance to great restaurants and attractions at Cannery Row. We will stay there again and recommend to friends.

The hotel staff is very friendly and the rooms are spacious. Many of the rooms have a fireplace and an outdoor patio. Each day wine and cheese is served from 4:30 to 5:30 PM. The breakfast in the morning is very nice with good variety in which to choose. The hotel smell very clean both in the public areas as well in the rooms. The rooms have two sinks for plenty of room to spread your toiletry items. The only concerns are that the rooms have no air conditioning for ventilation and the beds are a bit hard. The hotel provides a room fan for ventilation that works well most of the time. If the summer becomes hot (over 80 degrees) the room can get a bit stuffy.

What a great place to stay; an absolute gem! The parking situation was great and safe and this hotel is a terrific location to access the local shops and restaurants as well as the aquarium. The staff are great and they include a breakfast.

This hotel is very welcoming. Our room was very nice and clean, bed was comfortable. The breakfast was a great way for us to start our day and we also enjoyed the cheese and wine reception in the afternoon. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. My husband and I walked to Cannery Row and Fisherman's wharf during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Everything about this establishment is first class. Each and every employee from the manager to the grounds keepers have always been courteous and well dressed. We have stayed here several times and would not think of staying else where while in Monterey. I have and will continue to. recommend this establishment to others

A great boutique hotel which we have stayed at before. It's great location is within walking distance to Cannery Row, in Monterey, California. The morning breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese reception is well done: a great time to chat with fellow travelers.

Rooms are quite large and clean. Beds were really comfortable and shower was good too. Nice touch is the cheese and wine in the afternoon. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate. Overall would recommend as location for Fishermans Wharf and Cannery Row is good

Very nice hotel - staff were really friendly and helpful. Super hot and cold breakfasts. Also free bottled water available from reception. There was a welcome gas log fire for the occasional chilly evening.

I have stayed at motels and hotels across the United States and in Asia but have found no better. The staff went overboard to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely do it again next Anniversary if not before.

We have been here before for one night, this time we stayed for 3. Lovely comfortable rooms, reception very accommodating if you need anything. Breakfast is good, a choice and plenty of it. The wine and cheese was a nice touch. Highly recommended
