Staff were very helpful and breakfast was good. Pilot light on in gas fire to burn of gas - no way of turning of. No ventilation as ground floor room with no locking mechanism on the door once opened. Very noisy throughout the night.

Beetje erg gedateerd hotel

Wanted to give my wife a nice birthday get away. Did my reservations through 'Booking dot"... er well you know. Sent many messages between myself and the hotel letting them know it was a birthday gift and i would like a room with a view. they sent back saying they would try depending on arrival time to accommodate. we arrived and checked in at around 2, did not expect to register just wanted permission to park there so we could walk around. To my pleasant surprise the room was ready and they let us check in. We grabbed our bags and went to the room. When we opened the door my wife looked at me and said "oh my god, you had them put wine and chocolates? er.......yea? Well to say the least, nice touch guys!. The stay was over all nice. The only reason i don't rant and rave about this place is because both nights i was kept up by little children running across my ceiling. I feel its not great Policy to place small children on upper floors. especially in an older wooden structure hotel. Other than the lack of sleep due to excessive noise the place was great. the breakfast was sufficient and the wine and cheese get together was a nice touch.

Zimmer war groß, mit Kamin, sehr großen Fernseher und Fensterbank samt Tisch, sauber, aber schon sehr abgewohnt. Wir hatten keine Klimaanlage also haben wir das Fenster geöffnet und der Straßenlärm war sehr unangenehm in der Nacht. Positiv aufgefallen ist uns, dass es weder am Zimmer, noch beim Frühstück Plastikgeschirr gab! TOLL!!! Gutes Frühstück mit frischen Erdbeeren! Für das was einem geboten wird (kein Pool, kein Fitness...) viel zu teuer!!!!
