We’ve stayed here multiple occasions and keep coming back. Location is great, we have small children and like to go to the aquarium. Lots of food options close by. Their breakfast is great and wine with cheese and crackers daily is a bonus! Place is older and updated but kept clean

Everything about The Victorian Inn is exceptional. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was cozy, clean and very comfortable. The perks of continental breakfast and wine/cheese happy hour were much appreciated. When we visit Monterey, this will always be our first choice for places to stay.

I like this place for a few reasons. The price is pretty reasonable. Way less expensive than staying in a place, hotel or inn in Carmel. Two, it's cozy. Every room has a fireplace which is perfect for the cold temperatures in Monterey. Very essential to have all year round because when the ocean breeze kicks in the town, it is beyond cold. Nice perks for the inn; every night, they have a cheese and wine social in their cozy lobby that features, a large platter or cheese, strawberries, crackers and apples. Wine and tea is also served and every morning, they serve breakfast to their guests between 7 am and 10 am in the morning. Rooms are basic but nice with a fireplace as previously mentioned, a large comfy bed, over stuffed chairs and a bathroom. Overall, a nice place to stay. Recommend.

Centrally located. Close to cannery row and fisherman’s wharf. Easy getting in and out. Great breakfast. Cleaning crew are awesome. Loved the fireplace. Nice room.

We had a lovely stay, the inn is in a great location, the room we had was big and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and we also enjoyed the wine and cheese in the afternoons - I especially liked the lemonade they served then aswell.

All of downtown Monterey was walkable from this location. We stayed in a suite which was roomy and comfortable

Walking distance to Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf. Lots of options w/in walking distance. I used to come to the area a lot while my daughter attended CSUMB, but usually stayed in Marina. This was great to be right in the heart/walking distance to everything we wanted during our stay. Complimentary wine/cheese, and complimentary 'continental breakfast'.. we were not expecting mini-omelets/sausage, on top of the waffles I always like/expect. Selection of yogurts and hot oatmeal. Loved the fireplace in our room.
