I stay here frequently for business. Location is walking distance from a wonderful variety of great restaurants as well as the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful.

The staff at this place is wonderful. They are very friendly and helpful for whatever you need. We arrived in the afternoon after riding the Harley all day. In the lobby they have a nice big container of ice water, which was wonderful for us. They also have several different kinds of fruit to choose from. Our room was already for us. We have a best western rewards card. In our room we found a welcome card, a bottle of wine, wine glasses, and some chocolates. It does not get better than that. They do have real coffee cups and the one cup coffee maker. They have coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the room you have breakfast in if you do not want to make coffee in your room. Breakfast is from 7-10, but it was always ready before that. That was amazing to us. We like to get up and going for the day, so a big plus for us. The room is within walking distance to the aquarium and cannery row. Once we arrived, we walked every place. There is also a Starbucks within walking distance. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff here are great.

This hotel FAR exceeded my expectations. By far the nicest Best Western Plus I've stayed in (and I've stayed in more than a few over the years!). From the wine and chocolate en-suite, to the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room (looking inwards to the courtyard with lovely chairs), to the complimentary wine and cheese hour (Victor was great pouring the wine!), and the breakfast... I was very impressed. If I hadn't REALLY REALLY had to keep going the next day, I would've absolutely stayed another night. Thank you so much!

In all of our travels, Victorian Inn is the very best. We were very surprised to find such a wonderful place. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Like to take Victorian Inn with us !!

This is a very nice hotel, within walking distance of most tourist attractions in Monterey. The room was large and comfortable. It had a fireplace but being there only one night, didn’t get a chance to try. The property was clean and up-to-date. The front desk staff was friendly but we really didn’t have much interaction. Breakfast was pretty similar to other places. One nice feature was that they served wine and cheese in the afternoon.

Was glad to find this place. The room had plenty of space and was clean, quiet, and nicely furnished. We had a fireplace and a porch. The Inn is close to Cannery Row. The complimentary breakfast was great. Service on check-in and check-out was friendly, pleasant, efficient. Would definitely stay again.

Room was noisy if you are on the street side. (Next to the busy road.) Add 15 dollars a day for to your room fee for parking (wish they would have been more upfront about that I could understand charging for more then 1 car but $15 dollars a day felt excessive) The shower was short (if you are 6' tall it hits you in the chest.) The breakfast food was below average (the eggs are frozen and heated up) The hotel was clean and in a nice location just wish I knew about some of the drawbacks when I booked.

Great Hotel in a great location. Walking distance to the aquarium,shops,restaurants and bars. On site breakfast is good and all staff are helpful and friendly. Convenient parking also on site. Great for a weekend getaway with family or friends!!

I’m really please we paid that little bit more and stayed here just a few minutes walk from all the attractions and restaurants. The hotel is nice enough and the fireplaces in the rooms and layout of the hotel are charming. The included breakfast is described as continental but it is more than that - they have hot sausages, eggs and a waffle iron that the kids loved using. Highly recommended.

Visiting California for the first time from Scotland. Stayed 3 nights here, and it was really fab. Really close for walking to everything you want to see in Monterey. Clean, very comfortable and with very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend staying here.
