LOVE this hotel!!! Clean, great location for walking, excellent breakfast and wine and cheese reception, great staff, we have stayed in the past but not since pre-covid, felt so good to go back and experience Monterey again, highly recommend

We did a girls trip up to Monterey for a friend's wedding and were lucky enough to get a solid price for a night at the Victorian Inn. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! The main lobby and breakfast room are very charming and we loved that the current dog guests were listed on a whiteboard alongside a jar of free dog treats and dog waste bags. The really sweet young woman who introduced herself as the manager allowed us to check in early so that we could get ready for our 3pm wedding. The staff had said in advance that if other guests checked out early they would accommodate us, but even though checkout was 12pm they were able to sneak us into a room around 1:30pm. We were so grateful! That really made the experience for us. She also gave us parking tips (you can park on site for $17-20 if you wish, or try other options) and was really flexible with us making a decision about parking onsite later on. The breakfast was PHENOMENAL. Try the omelettes! I truly think it may have been the best continental breakfast I've had in the USA. Coffee, tea, fruit, juice, cereal, granola, oatmeal, make your own waffles, muffins, bagels, and sausage were also available. We would absolutely stay here again and really appreciated their hospitality! Only things that could be improved is the shower water pressure and also we couldn't figure out how to turn off the alarms on the alarm clock that another guest had set for very early. That might just be us not being tech-savvy, but either clearing the alarms during the cleaning process or putting instructions would be awesome. Thanks for the great stay!

While the hotel is old and charming, its services are up to date. The included breakfast had a wide array of foods, while the included wine and cheese were a nice touch. It is only 2-4 blocks from Cannery Row with its numerous restaurants and shops (as well as the Monterey Bay Aquarium). If I plan another visit to Monterey I would be happy to stay at the Victorian Inn

Have been to this hotel several times and love it. Park the car and walk everywhere we like to go. Love the rooms with a fireplace and the Decor is Victorian. Pleasant staff too. It is our go to place when visiting Monterey.

All expectations exceeded from the moment we arrived ! Parking Area through Our Room Accommodations !

I wanted convenience to the aquarium and dining with a clean comfortable place to stay. BW Victorian met all my expectations. Close enough I could walk my 5 year old grand kids to the aquarium and to dining. Only took the car once to Dennis the Menace park. I recommend this hotel for that type of a stay.

This hotel has been my annual birthday getaway for 15 years. I book for 5 nights. The first people you meet there is the front desk staff. Selene, Lauren and Alyssa are exceptional. So friendly, helpful, and they make you feel right at home. The location is so convenient to the aquarium and Cannery Row. Plenty of great places to eat. I always have dinner at The Chart House on my last evening, and what a view of Monterey Bay! It's only a five minute walk from the hotel. There is even a CVC drug store a couple of blocks away just in case you forgot something at home. Plan to make my 16th visit next year.

Very helpful with special requests and super friendly, helpful and courteous

This place is very cozy. The fireplace in the room was the best part! Underground parking with an elevator AND they provide rolling luggage carts. The staff treated us well and the location is great for walking to the aquarium or to restaurants.

We love this hotel. Last time we came to Monterey we stayed here and had a lovely experience. So when we planned another trip we went straight to book here. Our second experience is just as wonderful. Fun aesthetic, high ceilings, fire places. It's all very cozy and homey. I don't really feel like I'm at a hotel. More like each room is its own cozy living room.
