Room was modern and ...

Room was modern and clean. Bathroom was very nice. The room had 2 sinks and a vanity makeup mirror. They also do wine and cheese and breakfast with your stay. Good location close to the aquarium and cannery row tourist area with shops and restaurants. No AC but it was fine with the sliding door open and fan.

A well priced, perfect choice

We were really happy with our stay. The room was a fair size and beds very comfortable and we all felt it was well located for walking access to everything we wanted to see in Monterey. Wine and cheese hour was an added bonus. I did like the china mugs and plates and metal cutlery for breakfast use - far preferable to the paper plates and plastic cups in other hotels we stayed at.

Victorian Inn

Absolutely the best! From the management to the staff, top notch. Every visit to Monterey, this is where I stay simply because of how they treat me. Was in an updated room (bathroom) this time and that was very nice!

Consistently Great Service

I've been staying in this hotel for car week for over the last ten years. Always enjoy staying at this hotel. Bathroom have just been remodeled. Every room has a fireplace and most have a patio. The wine and cheese hour every afternoon is very nice and the free breakfast in the morning is nothing fancy, but saves you money in an area that is slightly more expensive than some when it comes to food. Walking distance to the Aquarium and Cannery Row, a great location with plenty of restaurants around to choose from for lunch and dinner. If I ever had time to come up to Monterey just for fun, this is the place I would stay.
