The staff were so welcoming at check-in and helpful when we made a small request. They treat the 4-legged guests quite well, with their name on a sign in the foyer, a food bowl, doggies treats etc. We enjoyed the wine and cheese event and the breakfast was tasty...

Ideal location for a stay in Monterey Bay. Just one block from the main cycle/walk path along the front. Perfect 5km morning running route (there and back) to Lovers Point to watch the sunrise. Great breakfast, although busy when we stayed but the staff we quick to replenish food and clear away. Just 2 blocks down to Cannery Row for plenty of shops and cafe choices. We stayed with our 4 year old son and had a great time.

An excellent experience. I loved everything about this hotel. The room, (with fire) the views across the bay, the cheese and wine, the breakfast and the staff. Secure parking. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Good access to the rest of Monterey.

We will definitely be coming back to the Victorian Inn! I highly recommend this as a place to stay in the Monterey area. It’s very close to Pacific Grove and the aquarium.

Amazing Stay! I’m walking distance to lots of fun things. Staff was exceptional and happy hour and breakfast were wonderful. This is our go to place as we visit many times a year.

Loved staying at the Victorian Inn. We only stayed for one night for a quick anniversary celebration, but the staff were all so friendly and helpful. There is parking available for a charge under the building, but there is also free street parking not too far away. We enjoyed our room, the bed was super comfy, some of the pillows could use replacing but otherwise it was clean and spacious. Loved the fireplace and the two sinks in the bathroom area. The wine and cheese hour was a great surprise as well, we enjoyed taking advantage of that and sitting in the lounge. Breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, breads, fruit, yogurt, fresh waffles. It would get old if you stayed for several days, but it was a nice addition to our stay. The location and price set this apart as well, definitely would stay here again.

We enjoyed staying at the hotel very much. In the center of Monterey we got a very spacious room, very clean and quiet. Walking distance to the sea and the aquarium of Monterey. The hosts are very friendly and supportive

Takes pets! Hooray. Clean, near Aquariums (can walk ) . Decent breakfast recommend small tubs of plain white yogurt. Recommend fireplace in room for winter travelers. Nothing beats waking up to a small fire burning in your bedroom!

The fireplace was a plus during winter! The kids loved the waffle machine during breakfast.

The staff is always very friendly. The rooms are very cute and comfortable. We love having the fire place. It's the perfect location to walk to popular Monterey sites. The breakfast is always good too.
