First of all Christina at the front desk was just real and down to earth , very genuine I love people like that ❤️ The location is the best ! You are in walking distance to Cannery Row that means all the shops and restaurants. Breakfast in the morning at Victorian Inn is a step up from your normal continental breakfast they have hot food like sausage , n eggs , with choices of cereals and waffles (-hot ), juices , coffee and hot cocoa. And the staff is outstanding, very easy to approach about anything and they listen . The wine and cheese in the evening is perfect before you go out to dinner . A lil something in your belly with a small pre game before you take a quick minute drive somewhere or walk to Crystal Fish around the corner; if you love sushi ! Overall the place is 9 out 10 only because this is a Me thing - I heard so much noise but that's because it's not a normal hotel where all rooms are indoor every door is outside so I could hear deliveries being made , all the cars on the streets and every voice that was close to my room but again this is a me thing and in no way the hotel. Oh and by the way , if you have something going on like a birthday or anniversary I would definitely let them know in advance because you never what little surprise you may get from the staff ! I will definitely be rebooking my stay anytime I'm back in Monterey! Thank you Victoria Inn ! Noise

The room was very clean and spacious. The shower was hot and powerful. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We love the breakfast especially the waffles (when we saw the waffle irons, we knew this was a top-notch place), the eggs, sausages, muffins, fruit, etc. Also, we like their coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and juice station. We used one of their handicapped parking spaces which was very convenient for us. The Victorian Inn was a very quiet place and located in walking distance to Cannery Row and the Monterey Aquarium. We had an enjoyable stay in The Victorian Inn. Highly recommend this place!

Ranking in order of importance: 1) Bed and pillow were comfortable. The pillow was the right size and softness - not too big and stiff like some places. The bed was supportive. 2) Parking was underground and it felt safe. 3) The breakfast was fine - not amazing B&B style but better that the typical Holiday Inn fare. 4) The location is great! Easy walking to a fabulous restaurant just a couple blocks away called Oystertown. Also, just 5-10 minutes to Cannery Row. About 5 minute walk to a good coffee shop called Tidal. And, just a couple minutes to the bike/walking path if you are bringing a bike. 5) Checkin was fast and efficient.

A really cute inn! Everyone was very nice! The breakfast was delicious and the sign of the rooms is really cool!

We stayed 3 nights, couples trip, deluxe King courtyard view room. Our room was comfortable and clean. The bed was so comfy. The fireplace was nice and tasty in the cool nights after long days exploring Monterey. Everyone we encountered at the hotel were friendly and professional. There is a courtyard area with some tables and chairs. Ice machine near courtyard area. It is located just above cannery row making everything we wanted to do in that area easily walkable and felt safe. There are plenty of restaurants that are walkable. There is a 7-11 that is a 3 minute walk. 10 min walk to Aquarium and 15 minutes to Fishermans Wharf. 17 mile Drive is about a 10 minute drive from the hotel. Breakfast was good with standard options like eggs or quiche, sausage, Belgian waffles, muffins, bread/toast, cereal selections, fresh fruit, dairy and non dairy yogurts, milk, coffee, tea, juice. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Cannery Row area :)

Great location, easy walk to everything! Hotel room was very clean. Breakfast was great, a good variety of food options and staff kept the area stocked. Would definitely recommend.

We liked that the hotel was very clean and the rooms are spacious. Our room came with a fireplace and a balcony. The bathroom was spacious too which is always a plus! They offer a wine and cheese reception in the evening and a buffet breakfast in the morning with hot items. Between the wine reception and the breakfast, they do a deep cleaning in the dining room. I know this because we were in the lobby and I saw the chairs were moved so that they could thoroughly clean the floor. They didn’t just clean around the chairs. The one downside was they had an EV charger that was very expensive so we did not use it. The hotel is minutes away (walking) from Cannery Row and the beautiful Pacific Grove coastal trail.

loved our stay here for my birthday weekend with 3 kids under 5. walked every where we needed, and the staff was so nice and helpful. would definitely stay here again.

We celebrated my son’s birthday and they put together a sweet welcome gift that made him feel so special. They have complimentary snacks and wine in the evening and breakfast every morning, it was so helpful with our kids to have a little snack before exploring Monterey. Very close to the aquarium and restaurants. Highly recommend
