Stayed here for the second and third nights of an 8-night California road trip. Our party of four loved this inn! Unique, charming and convenient. Our two breakfasts were the best we had on our trip. The parking garage was an expected plus. We would definitely stay again.

The room was very clean and a good size. Coffee was available in the room , but no tea. The hotel is well located for an easy walk to Cannery wharf and the pier. The free breakfast was exceptional with lots of choice. Check in was very easy with very helpful staff

My school group needed a hotel to stay at for 42 individuals. After the trip I head nothing but how much this place was a "winner" The ease of check-in, the breakfast and afternoon snacks, the rooms everything was great. The group sales team did a fantastic job leading up to our stay as well. It's not easy dealing with 37 middle school kids, but they did a fantastic job. We do this trip every year and we will definitely be staying next year.

Wonderful experience from start to finish!! Perfect location for Cannery Row visit. Room was specious, clean and comfortable. Parking was easy. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices. Will stay again!

The Victorian Inn was great! We got two rooms for one night and loved our stay. Loved the friendly and helpful staff, wine and cheese hour, free breakfast, great location, near the aquarium, Cannery Row, restaurants, trails, bay, etc. excellent room with fireplace in balcony and double sinks in the bathroom. Great value for this expensive city. We will be back.

Great property and location. 2 blocks from Cannery Row but away from the crowds and bustle. Very friendly welcome. Underground parking with easy elevator access to floors. Several bell carts available. Good hot breakfast. Finding your room is a bit of a challenge. Highly recommended and would return.

Second time w/in a year staying here. Looks like it has become our choice of places to stay if in the area. Staff are friendly, especially those taking care of wine/cheese and breakfast. They are so efficient keeping supplies filled and tables cleared.

We have been coming to this place since 1997. We love the ambiance of this place. This is a historical hotel and has so much charming and appeal. The character of this hotel is unparalleled to others in the city of Monterey. We live in Kentucky now, but when the opportunity presents itself to fly home, this is definitely a place we go to stay in. The breakfast is top shelf and undeniable delicious. The wine and cheese tasting are impeccable. The sitting rooms were designed in early 1900 decor. The rooms still have the charm of antique pictures and chairs yet still have updated amenities. No need to pack your hygienes because they're already in the shower. The staff is a delight to talk to, considering how most places have employees who wouldn't care about speaking with you. Make sure to tip the peeps in the service areas, wine, breakfast, and housekeeping. They do a fantastic job keeping your belly full and your wine glass topped off, and not to mention keeping this place spotless. You will be pleasantly surprised when you stay here. We love it.
