I chose this hotel based on the reviews I read here, and I'm glad I did! We had an excellent stay at the Best Western. It's location is excellent, and the parking fee isn't exorbitant. Our room (a king-size bed) was quite large and included a fire place, two chairs, a fridge, and (my favorite part) TWO SINKS! One in the bathroom and one right outside. It was a great setup, I wish more hotels were set up this way! The breakfast was good. Hotel was pretty quiet at night although you could hear people getting up to start their day in the mornings. Be sure to buy our Aquarium tickets here!!! I read about the Buy-one-get-2-days deal online. No one at the hotel mentioned it to me, which I think they should have. Not only is it a good deal, but it also saves you from standing in the long line outside the aquarium, of all the people waiting to buy tickets!

Great place accepts dogs, rooms are neat and easy to get to. Clean rooms, Every room has fireplace and patio. Wonderful and friendly staff. Free continental breakfast with great coffee and tea. Evening wine and cheese reception. Has paid parking 16 a day. Great find. Easy walk to cannery and resturants. Highely recomended.

The fact that every room has a fireplace and patio was not something we knew ahead of time. What a lovely surprise! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The evening wine & cheese reception was also unexpected. The breakfast even included french toast which was another bonus. We'll be back for sure!

Beautiful rooms with fireplace

This Best Western was extremely nice--wine and cheese reception with quality central coast wines was a plus. Great location to walk around and enjoy Monterey without getting back in the car. Parking charge but it's covered and more secure. Highly recommend!

We always enjoy staying here as it's two blocks from Cannery Row. Once we arrive, we just park the car and walk to everything. We've stayed at many places in Monterey but this is the best place to stay. We will be back in October as we ll!
