Love the fireplace in the room! It’s cozy and warm and really helps with sleeping. Great breakfast, great stuff, clean room and comfy bed, definitely a great option within this price range.

My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic time at this hotel—truly couldn't have asked for more. The room was not only beautiful but came with a cozy fireplace that added that extra-special touch, making the entire experience feel warm and inviting. The staff? Phenomenal. Every interaction was met with genuine friendliness and care that made us feel right at home. As for the location, it was unbeatable! We parked in the garage and spent the entire weekend exploring on foot—everything was within walking distance. And now, the cherry on top: the shower water pressure. Let me tell you, it was next level—like a spa experience every morning. If I could give it 20 out of 10 stars, I would! This hotel truly nailed every detail, big and small. Highly recommend!

One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. It was spacious, quiet, friendly, charming in our suite with two functioning fireplaces, two tvs and a host of other goodies, all for a bargain price!

We have stayed at the Victoria Inn several times over the last few years. We enjoy Monterey and vicinity, and the hotel is a fine stay. The breakfast is not lavish, but plenty of fine options. The nightly wine (or juices) and cheese is similarly low-key but a nice light snack after an afternoon out. The hotel is walking distance to the Monterey Aquarium, plenty of restaurants, Cannery Row, and Carmel or the 17 mile drive are a short drive away. The rooms are well-equipped, a good size, bath and bed are good, fine tv, etc. I also love ceramic mugs and reall glasses instead of cardboard and plastic in the room, so points for that. Overall, a good place to stay in a good location.

We stay here most every time we come to Monterey. Love this place, all staff friendly, helpful. PS wine and cheese hour does go a long ways to make the experience!

Room was larger then normal. Enjoyed having two sink areas. Breakfast and wine and cheese in evening was petfect. Front desk was cheerful. Perfectly located for Cannery Row and resturants.

I loved the fireplace in my room, which I used every night. It created a warm and homey atmosphere.

This hotel is such a gem. First, every staff member that I encountered was actually friendly and helpful. Thats unfortunately not super common anymore so it’s a pleasure when that is the case. I only stayed one night and the price was affordable, so was the parking. I’ll never really understand why hotels charge for parking, but $20 here is a lot better than $40+ like other hotels. I checked in at 5:00 and there was a complimentary happy hour. i grabbed a glass of wine and some cheese, crackers and apples to take to my room and enjoy on the cute little patio while getting ready for dinner. There are so many restaurants and shops with a couple blocks of the hotel. The coastal walk is right there too. Im a big fan of the 12:00 check out as i was able to enjoy my morning and not be rushed. The bed was comfy, although the bedding is pretty thin and I did get chilly throughout the night. There wasn't back up linens in the room, but I'm sure if I asked they would have supplied some to me. There was also a There was also a very decent complementary breakfast offered that included fresh waffles, yum! overall I would definitely recommend staying here.
