Our room was lovely, with a nice fireplace and a little comfortable balcony. The hotel was nicely situated, within easy walking distance to the aquarium and cannery shops. The hotel provides a comfortable wine and cheese hour, and the morning breakfast was a cut above the usual with lots of fresh fruit.

Easy walking distance to Cannery Row and to water front. Good underground parking, Spacious room with fireplace and balcony.

This is our second time staying here. We liked the location, breakfast, and comfortable, clean room last time. I also wanted a fireplace in the room. This time, when we checked in, we were told we would be above the lobby in room 230, up the stairs. Initially, we didn't like not having an elevator as we had two big heavy suitcases and other bags, but we were told it was the best room at the hotel. We hiked up the stairs and the room did not disappoint. We walked into a sitting room with a couch, desk, TV and fireplace, then a separate bedroom with window seat, king bed, closet, TV and fireplace. The bathroom was a nice size with double sinks and a large shower with body shower jets. We were surprised to see two bottle of Perrier and chocolates with a note welcoming us back. Very nice touch! Looking forward to breakfast in the morning and just wish we could stay another night this time. I'm sure we will be back again!

We love staying at Victorian Inn! The staff is friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is delicious! We also love the fireplace in the room for a relaxing evening.

This was a beautiful hotel. Wonderful rooms, clean and comfortable. Walking distance from Fisherman’s Wharf and Cannery Row which was great. Very nice breakfast and a plus was an hour happy hour with wine and cheese and crackers. I would definitely stay again.

The location is great! The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the wine and cheese as well as breakfast.

My family and I stayed at the Victorian Inn on Foam St. in Monterey. The hotel has character and is very nice. It is located within walking distance of Cannery Row and many restaurants. The service was top notch. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was very good. The breakfast area was maintained very well. Our room was spacious and comfortable. It even included a fireplace which we put to use (gas log), as it was foggy and cool when we were in Monterey. There was a nice sitting area in the room and the bathroom was spacious and had nice finishes. Do note there is a charge for parking in their parking garage. Parking is hard to find in that area of Monterey so that is understandable. I recommend the Victorian Inn.

Stayed for a long weekend to see our son. Beautiful room with fireplace, terrace and comfortable bed. Easy check in. We did arrive early so they held our luggage while we walked to cannery row for lunch. Loved the onsite parking. Every hotel if it has parking is paid. This wasn’t the highest we have experienced. Loved the wine and cheese and breakfast. Staff was always polite and helpful. Also loved the little board in the lobby welcoming their furry guests. Will definitely stay here again.

Home feel, and with great amenities! Staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious, location is in the heart of Pacific Grove, lots of parking! We'll come back!
