Perfect for a couple nights near the beach.

A terrific find in Monterey. Walking to cannery row and the aquarium. Spacious and good beds. Pleasant breakfast setting for days you don't want to go out. Afternoon wine and cheese sweet idea but wasn't great tasting. I'll choose The Victorian Inn over any other if i return to Monterey.

Stayed here for the first time and will stay here again in the future. The staff was amazing! I loved the fire place in the room and the location was great.

We had an amazing experience at Victorian Inn! We had the premier room with vaulted ceilings and a marble gas fireplace, and the room was extremely spacious, clean, and luxurious. The location of this hotel is perfect, its walking distance to Cannery Row and the aquarium, but set apart a bit from the chaos of the main street. We especially loved the delicious hot breakfast every morning. Would definitely stay here again!

The Inn and location are great. The complementary breakfast was above average. The evening wine and cheese is a nice touch. The water pressure is awesome and hot water is quick. The TV’s allow you to cast to them. I would recommend this place.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Victorian Inn in Monterey, California. We spent five days and four nights there, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. Every single staff member was genuinely warm, welcoming, and hospitable, and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. They were kind enough to let us check in a little early, which was such a nice start to the trip. Traveling with our dog made the stay even more special because they had treats waiting for him upon arrival. That thoughtful touch really set the tone. The staff also shared wonderful local recommendations that helped us make the most of our time in Monterey. Our room was absolutely adorable, impeccably clean, and clearly well cared for. We especially loved using the electric fireplace, which made the room feel extra cozy and relaxing. The complimentary wine and cheese hour was another highlight and such a lovely way to unwind in the evenings. The location is perfect. It is just the right distance from the pier and incredibly walkable, making it easy to explore the area without needing to drive. Overall, the Victorian Inn exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Monterey.

This hotel is in a fantastic location with excellent breakfast and wine hour. The room is spacious and clean. The service was excellent.

I stayed here for Thanksgiving weekend, and check-in to check-out was seamless. The male receptionist with long, pulled back hair was so kind and helpful. The rooms were exactly as shown, everything was clean, and the wifi was perfect. Their balconies and fireplaces sealed the deal for me as the perfect touches. Make sure to visit their breakfast + 🍷 & 🧀 hour when you stay here. My only critique is that there should be signage that directs guests to rooms 218-223. Otherwise, it’s confusing. Also, if possible, it’d be better to make the happy hour adults-only. Some parents don’t manage their rowdy children which makes the environment overstimulating and uncomfortable.
