Enjoyed the great location and staff was amazing! The breakfast was surprisingly good. Waffles were delicious.

Accommodations were great. Staff were friendly. The main street is a little loud. However, if you aren't sensitive to noise or have a room away from the street you should be good. The room I was in was great. Has historic vibes with modern furniture. Morning breakfast is basic and has food sensitivity options available. Walkable to Cannery Row and have a few thrift shops.

We absolutely loved our stay here, friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast area, and the rooms have cute little patios. We will definitely be back.

This is a nice inn. The location is walking distance to some beaches, Cannery Row, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and even the Old Fisherman's Wharf. There a lot of great food options within 1 block. The wine and cheese reception is fun to meet and make friends. The inn is dog friendly. Staff were freindly and helpful. Definitely going to return.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my 2 kids and my partner. We had a pac and play available for our baby. They serve breakfast. Free wifi. It is walking distance of the aquarium and Cannery Row. They have parking you can pay for. It was a good price and worth it. I recommend bringing your family here for vacation.

This wonderful little gem is fantastic for rest and relaxation with your family while visiting Monterey. You really enjoy the small town vibes while staying in the best little private hotel in the area. The food was unique, not your typical Continental breakfast, and we adore the staff. The most impactful part of this stay was the treatment of our animals. If you travel with your fur babies, there is nowhere you want to stay other than the Victorian Inn. They make them feel like party of their family and even have a board in the lobby that states all of the animals names and how they are thankful to have them here as part of their residency... And as animal owners that is unprecedented in hotel travel. Typically most hotels, especially the small ones.......try to nickel and dime you for traveling with animals, that is not the case here as they charge a simple fee and nothing more. They also have treats for the animals and accommodate if you need extra towels for bathing your animals in the shower. This alone puts them ahead of any other hotel in a 10 mile radius, and it's the reason why anytime we come to cannery row we will be lifetime temporary residents of this fine establishment. Finding a patch of grass anywhere in this town is very difficult, but as long as you clean up after your animals, there are plenty of little trees around the hotel and places you can take them. You are two blocks from a park that is full of grass with an open playing Field. If you want to throw a ball or play tug with your puppy.

I absolutely loved the Victorian Inn. My daughter and I had a wonderful time and our accommodations were lovely and very clean. The staff were great, in particular, the kitchen crew were like a well-oiled machine. The room was spacious, and though some of the trappings were a bit worn, everything was super clean and the beds were very comfortable (and I am a bed snob). Our room had a gas fireplace that we used every evening, plus a vaulted ceiling, what a nice touch. The location was perfect for walking to all the sites along Cannery Row, yet it was nice to be off the beaten path by a few blocks. We basically walked to everything: Monterey Bay Aquarium, Monterey Bay Whale Watch (highly recommend their 4-hour boat ride), Adventures By The Sea for our e-bike tour, and most of our meals. Though I will give a nod to Red House Cafe with is in Pacific Grove and a short drive. The garage was a great option to have. I basically parked my car and did not use it most days, and I felt comfortable that it was secure and safe. The parlor room was comfortable and inviting. We enjoyed breakfast there as well a couple wine and cheese hours. The inn is pet friendly, though I did not bring my dog. I did appreciate that they were not allowed in the breakfast room though. It was tight some mornings during peak time. While researching places to stay in Monterey Bay, I feel the Victoria Inn is a good value, especially compared with some of the other hotels that are on Cannery Row proper. I will definitely stay here again if my travels take me back to Monterey Bay.
