We were visiting Monterey with our sons and reuniting with good friends from 15 years ago. We were next door neighbors and try to get together every other year. They flew up from Riverside and we flew out from Louisiana. Our check-in was fast and our rooms were all right next to each other. The ambiance in the rooms was way beyond expectation. We all felt at home and oh so cozy. I would stay here any time I visit beautiful Monterey in the future. 5 star rating.

Nice location. Super easy walk to Cannery Row and the aquarium. The lobby is really pretty. The front desk staff is very nice. Everything is clean. Beautiful rooms. We love the gas fireplace. The bathrooms are great -- there's a regular bathroom (with tub, toilet, and sink), but also a sink just outside the bathroom which is surprisingly convenient! I love that they have committed to the gorgeous old-fashioned Victorian style despite the cost (I assume). Breakfast is great! Not just cereal, muffins and coffee; There is a waffle maker, omelettes, and sausages.

The room was quite large and very comfortable. The location is fantastic, and the staff are very very nice.. I definitely recommend this hotel.

High ceilings make the room feel so much bigger. Beds are comfortable and the balcony is nice to relax and enjoy the fresh air.

Very happy with our stay. The room was comfortable and the staff nice. Parking is $17 per day. However it is best to park and leave your car in the garage and then walk. There is a great walking path and many things are easily accessible along the walking trail. The hotel is in an excellent location.
