Listed on the U.S. Register of Historic Places, Point Pinos Lighthouse, which is located in Pacific Grove, CA, was built more than 160 years ago.   • do i need a reservation for a tour?

    Yes, reservations are required to take a tour of Point Pinos Lighthouse. Call 831-646-3176 or email info@pointpinoslighthouse.org to arrange one. During your visit, you’ll get to see some of the restorations that have taken place recently. All the windows have been repainted and re-glazed while all the exterior wood surfaces have been patched up and given a new coat of paint. What’s more, much of the flooring has been replaced.

    Right across the street from the lighthouse and next to the Pacific Grove Golf Links is Point Pinos Grill where all three meals of the day are served. Breakfast items range from eggs and granola to pancakes and waffles. For lunch and dinner, you’ll be able to chow down on sandwiches, hamburgers, salads, and fresh seafood dishes like Monterey Bay calamari, pan roasted wild salmon, and coconut curry mussels.
